The Women of Har Shalom, a Sisterhood, is a volunteer organization that nurtures the congregants of Temple Har Shalom by cultivating personal growth, advocating for and promoting Jewish values, creating a caring community, and fostering social interactions among generations.
On March 9, 2019 the idea of a Women’s Shabbat celebrating the 30th Anniversary of Women of the Wall and International Women’s Day came to fruition. Over 40 women led the Shabbat morning service with a fully packed sanctuary. This beautiful, inclusive, and spiritual multi-generational event became the starting point for Women of Har Shalo

The first organizational meeting in May 2019 had 48 women in attendance, where ideas and opinions were collected forming the mission and goals for the organization.
